We believe responsibility for the impact of our decisions and actions on the environment, society, employees and business partners, as well as Poland's energy security, is our natural duty. Therefore, the principles of corporate social responsibility (CSR) are central to our mission and system of values.

We support the approach presented in the PN-ISO 26000:2012 standard, where corporate social responsibility is defined as an element of management process which takes into consideration an enterprise's responsibility for the environment in which it operates. In accordance with the ISO standard, corporate social responsibility is understood as an organisation's responsibility for the impact of its decisions and activities on the society and environment, demonstrated through transparent and ethical conduct, which:

  • contributes to sustainable development, including in the area of society's health and welfare,
  • takes into consideration the expectations of stakeholders (individuals or groups of people who have an interest in the organisation's decisions or actions),
  • complies with the applicable law and internationally accepted standards of conduct,
  • is integrated with the organisation's activities and underpins all actions taken as part of its operations.
