The ‘Talent with LOTOS’ programme includes projects addressed to talented students from the regions in southern Poland where LOTOS Group companies operate, i.e. the Jasło County and the Municipality of Czechowice-Dziedzice.

The programme is a response to a clear need to support gifted students. In the Jasło County, a project called ‘Jasło Science League with LOTOS’ is run in cooperation with the LOTOS Foundation, and in the Municipality of Czechowice-Dziedzice we have partnered with a programme called ‘Talent from Czechowice-Dziedzice, a Town of Fiery Enthusiasm’.
The aim of the ‘Talent from Czechowice-Dziedzice, a Town of Fiery Enthusiasm’ is to improve assistance and support offered to talented students, develop scientific thinking, and promote the use of the project method in Czechowice schools. Depending on their interests, the project participants have a choice of classes in the following fields: humanities, technical sciences, mathematics and natural sciences, social sciences (including charity initiatives), languages and art.
‘Jasło Science League with LOTOS’ employs a didactic method whereby students solve scientific and research problems, and thus have an opportunity to develop the desired skills of the future employee such as inquisitiveness, entrepreneurship, logical thinking, reasoning, team work and public speaking skills.
The ‘Talent with LOTOS’ programme is implemented in line with the LOTOS Group’s CSR areas, and is an example of very good cooperation between the local government, science and business. It promotes creative attitudes, teamwork, and the potential of young, talented students.
